I'd been debating whether to do this after Thanksgiving, but I think I should do it now.

I am for sure leaving LA. In early/mid December.

This is not a reflection on any of the LA-istas, many of whom I have become quite fond of. It's a whole other personal and personal-as-relates-to-professional thing.

I think the phrase is "Gotta find my corner of the sky". And this isn't it.

It's a bit premature to say I'll miss you all, but it's true. I'm not upset about this decision, except that, yeah, I'll miss you guys. Especially Ollie.

Thanks. I'm planning to ship most stuff, and then take some in the Matrix, which, if not super-loaded-down (can I just say how much fun unloading part of the back to get at the spare tire was on the highway outside St Louis?), is a pretty good vehicle for the drive.

But when I'm trying to figure out what to do with the futon, I may well be cursing the lack of a vehicle designed for hauling.
