I got a cat today. Inherited from a co-worker whose son has sever allergy issues.

He is a big cat, mostly black with a dozen or so white hairs on his chest. He has been called Fat Boy. This name will be going. He needs a new one. Suggestions welcome.

He's a very Zen cat, which is good. I have been told to expect that he will sleep on the bed, given the opportunity. He's been okay on his own for a couple days at his old house, so that's good.

He is currently exploring his new home. I will soon be off to get litter, possibly a carrier, and maybe some sort of toy-stuff. And food for me.
