I'd been debating whether to do this after Thanksgiving, but I think I should do it now.

I am for sure leaving LA. In early/mid December.

This is not a reflection on any of the LA-istas, many of whom I have become quite fond of. It's a whole other personal and personal-as-relates-to-professional thing.

I think the phrase is "Gotta find my corner of the sky". And this isn't it.

It's a bit premature to say I'll miss you all, but it's true. I'm not upset about this decision, except that, yeah, I'll miss you guys. Especially Ollie.

Indiana, for the moment. I'm looking at teacher training programs, with a pretty broad geographic spread, and then, not-a-city.

As to why now, my lease is up in January, but my mom wants to help me move, and this is when she can come out (I decline to comment on the extent to which I am looking forward to that drive).

I promise to come visit MA/New England, as soon and often as I can.

See, Indiana (Southern Indiana) is where my family is, so I can stay with my parents (or grandparents or whatever) rent-free while I regroup and re-deploy (Wow have I been watching too much Farscape).

So, not a destination so much as a rest-stop.

Yup, I've got Indianapolis family, too, so we're there pretty frequently. If you've got family, you've got a support core, but just so you know!
