After many instances of consciously choosing to not throw things about my living room, and several of trying to hunt down missed episodes, I have uncoupled my TiVo box and my cable box. If I want to watch BBCA or HBO (shit, or G4, I bet), I'll have to switch my tv input. Thankfully, I have OnDemand.

Someday, maybe TiVo and Cable box will learn each others' languages, and will be able to speak again.
