So, when I got home on Saturday, I discovered that my landlady not only thought I was going to be paying July rent (we had talked about me leaving early. apparently with vastly different understandings of things), but had gotten a lawyer involved.

Tonight, I found out that I am not being hired.

I really liked the school, and I don't think I was crazy to be reading that I basically had the job.

And I really don't know what happens now because everything is falling apart.

I used to have this saying that the more sure I was about something, the worse it turned out. Looks like it's time to resurrect that.

So, I guess, tomorrow I start looking at the job listings. Again.
