First, I went to Target. I got some of those collapsable measuring cups, and lemonade mix and a thing to keep it in in my fridge, so I have a water substitute on-hand all times. I also began the Great Sports Bra Hunt. This was possibly a mistake.

I then decided that going to Borders hungry was a bad idea, so I went to the Mall and got Bourbon Chicken from the Trashy Chinese/Cajun (wtf) place in the food court. While there, I finished American Born Chinese. I continued the Great Sports Bra Hunt. See, the thing is, while, yes, I have cleavage, it's really not all that much, in the grand scheme of things. I mean, I wear something like at 36/38 C/D, depending. It should not be hard to find something with enough structure for me to wear it on the elliptical machine, dammit. But Penny's Had nothing. Nor did Victoria's Secret (not that I thought they would, but better to check). Macy's had 2 different magical bras. Like all magical items, they were a bit expensive. $39 and $40 each. I got 3, total.

Then, I went to Borders. This weekend is Educator Discount Weekend. 25% off everything for teachers, former teachers, librarians, etc. I walked out with 15 items. 2 were free copies of A Wrinkle in Time. Also Dresden 1) Book 2 & 2) Book 3 (I find it slightly irritating that the covers are not of the same editions), 3) Slings & Arrows Season 3 (I now have all 3), 4 & 5) Sandman Books 6 & 7 (I now have all 10 of the main arc. Amazon has the wrong covers, so I will not link), 6) a Latin book that is not Wheelock, 7) The Best American Short Stories 2002, 8) A Hellblazer collection ,9) the afore-mentioned American Born Chinese, 10) An Encyclopedia Brown collection, 11) A Roman History Book, 12) Artemis Fowl Book 5 (no, I do not have 1-4. It was cheap, so I picked it up). 13) A really cool Beowulf comic which I got for free with the 5 for 4 comics thing. All told, about $125.

Sandman, Constantine, Dresden, S&A, and one of the Wrinkle copes are staying here. The rest are going to school.

(I would like to take a moment to look back on that list, and ask, as I did, briefly, at Borders, why do I not have a boyfriend. Seriously, relatively-young-men-of-northern-Indiana-and-surrounding-areas, what's up with that? [/Kate Monster])

Then, I went to JoAnn, got fabric for the kids to start their first sewing project, and some for me to re-create a pair of my favorite workout pants that are dying. In 3 colors (brown, black, and blue). See, right now, my schedule has me going to the gym 4 days a week. Starting in December, that will go up to 5, before setting down back at 4 in February or so. At least that's the plan. So, I want to have enough workout clothes that I won't be worrying so much about getting laundry done for their sake.

Then I stopped for gas.

And now I get to spend no more money all weekend, which shouldn't be that hard. I'll go to the Y in the morning, work out, then give blood, come home, clean, maybe sew. Sunday, I go to church (I seem to have found a place, which is cool), then come home, clean/work more, and make some sort of food that will then be lunch for much of the week.

Ok, yes, I need to get my brother a birthday gift. Probably a Wii game, which will be about $50.

And I need to pay rent by early next week. Including pet deposit (+ $200)

But, apart from that, no other spending.
