Bored, Bored, Bored
Oct. 1st, 2004 02:30 pmProbably, everyone lives their lives in a state of hurry-up and wait, but it really seems like that's my life right now. I'm writing this at work, where there is Nothing To Do, at least in part because of the large number of people out of the office this afternoon (technically the first day of the month, but, in spirit, the last day of the month) So, I'm sitting in Kim's cubicle (where I've been for several weeks now), writing an entry to post when I get somewhere with Internet, and going through my iTunes, rating those songs that are unrated. Mine is an exciting job. Later, I may get to pay bills or generate form letters.
Of course, there are a half dozen things I need to be doing for SPEC, most of which I can't do here. I'll probably mock up a Call Sheet when I finish this. I should be completely done tonight or tomorrow. So, Monday, I starting looking for new gigs. How is it October already?
And on a b.org note, I've not been in F2F much, as not having the Internet much, but here's more or less how it seems to me: we need to make sure we get a place with a good hospitality suite, so congregating there a better option than it was in DC. I say this having spent a decent amount of time there, and not minded it, but more comfy chairs or sofas would be A Good Thing. Also food and drink, if possible. Since going out will be a problem for some people, staying in should be made a good option, is my thinking.
