You know what sucks even more than the power going out?
The Cable box not turning back on when it comes back on.
You know what sucks even more than the cable box not coming back on?
Being out of town and having roommates who don't turn on the tv at all, so they don't notice, so the cable box stays off until you get home on the Monday after the storm, which was on Thursday, only to NOT have any of SciFi Friday, or USA Sunday sitting on the TiVo.
I am dealing with it, though, between later showings and ahem-ing a couple of things.
Besides, it was a loverly weekend in NYC, where I petted Dallas, bought turkey sausage and a purple pepper, and saw Trudy and Tom.
Any DC-istas (or Baltimore-istas) interested in getting dinner or something tomorrow? I know it's short notice, but I don't really want to eat with my roommates.
